Zobor Peak, which rises above the town of Nitra, is 587 meters high. The Tríbeč Mountain Range stretches along the peak. Zobor educational trail is designed for recreational hiking. One of the most valuable natural sites of the Zoborské vrchy is National Nature Reserve Zoborská lesostep (forest steppe), characterized by the occurrence of remarkable plants and animals. Part of the forest steppe, Svoradova jaskyňa (cave) with a source of drinking water, is located near the medical institution. The altar of St. Svorad, the Zobor hermit of the11th century, is built above the cave.
